Aunt Nina's LEMON YELLOW CAKE

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix

1 pkg. lemon Jell-O

3/4 c. vegetable oil

3/4 c. apricot nectar

4 eggs

2 T. Lemon Extract

 

  1. Mix cake mix and Jell-O mix
  2. Add oil, nectar, eggs and extract and beat one minute until well mixed
  3. Bake in a tube pan 70 minutes at 325 covering with foil after 45 minutes.
  4. Let cake cool 10 minutes before removing from pan
  5. Ice and enjoy!

Lemon Icing: 1 c. xxxx sugar mixed with juice of 1 lemon. Spread over cake and let run down the sides.
